The Spanish Moss is a truly remarkable air plant species. The plant consists of one or more slender stems bearing alternate thin, curved or curly, heavily scaled leaves that grow vegetatively in chain-like fashion (pendant), forming hanging structures up to 6.1 m in length. The plant has no aerial roots and its brown, green, yellow, or grey flowers are tiny and inconspicuous.
The plant can be used both indoors and outdoors.
